What is Ter Polymer?
Ter-polymer is an acrylic polymer carrying carboxylate, sulfonate and ester groups. It inhibits calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and zinc scale and disperses iron oxide in high-temperature, high-pH, high-hardness cooling water. ZEELCHEM 7000 is a 50% solution dosed at 5–10 mg/L.

Ter Polymer overview
ZEELCHEM™ 7000 is a 50% solids ter-polymer that inhibits calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and zinc scale and disperses ferric oxide. Three functional groups give it a wider operating window than a copolymer.
Blended with polyphosphate, zinc salt and organophosphonates it improves zinc stability and carbon-steel corrosion inhibition, which is why it is widely used in steel, petrochemical, power and oilfield water systems.
How Ter Polymer works
Three functional groups work together: carboxylates bind calcium, sulfonates keep the polymer soluble at high hardness, and the non-ionic segment improves dispersion of iron oxide and silt — giving a wider operating window than a copolymer.

Handling, storage and safety
Mildly acidic aqueous polymer solution: avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin contact; wear goggles and gloves. Store in closed HDPE containers, in shade, at 5–40 °C; protect from freezing. Not flammable. Use stainless steel, HDPE or PVC dosing equipment.
Shelf life: 12 months in sealed containers.
