pH booster overview
Low pH in boiler water and condensate dissolves iron and copper. ZEELCHEM pH booster supplies alkalinity to boiler feed water and, through its morpholine component, volatilises with steam to neutralise carbonic acid in the steam and condensate system.
It also helps keep sludge mobile and prevents scaling in boiler tubes, and can be used for pH correction in other process water.
How pH booster works
Alkalinity raises boiler-water pH into the protective range, while the volatile amine distils with steam and neutralises carbonic acid formed when CO₂ dissolves in condensate.
