Anionic Polyelectrolyte overview
High molecular weight and 20–30% hydrolysis give large, fast-settling flocs across pH 3–11. Used in river and industrial water clarification, mineral and coal slime settling, and effluent from paper, plating, dyeing, mining and coal washing.
Dilute 200–300 times with water before dosing for best performance.
How Anionic Polyelectrolyte works
Long negatively charged chains adsorb on several particles at once (bridging), building large dense flocs that settle quickly after coagulation.
